WATER’S EDGE

This elevated retreat, sited directly on coveted lake austin, was once a “texas tuscan,” popular in the area but long since outdated. The design team transformed the property by editing the layout of the home, opening the space to face the water and adding warm furnishings and finishes in the style of organic modernism. The new kitchen received an additional island that is more conducive to entertaining and large gatherings. Texas limestone and texas cypress usher the interior to the exterior and blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Doors, millwork and cabinet hardware were all custom and site specific. The brilliant repositioning of the office as a floating glass box perched atop the stairwell make this design truly special.
